DAB Enhancing Solution

DAB Enhancing Solution is a reagent used in immunohistochemistry (IHC) to intensify the signal produced by 3,3′-diaminobenzidine (DAB), a chromogenic substrate for peroxidase enzymes like horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This solution enhances the contrast and density of the brown precipitate formed during DAB oxidation, resulting in crisper and more defined staining of target antigens. It is especially useful for low-abundance targets or when increased visual clarity is needed in tissue sections.
