Strengthening Communities
At Vector Laboratories, our commitment to our community goes beyond the lab. By actively volunteering and partnering with local environmental and social nonprofit organizations, we hope to support those around us, fostering relationships that will create long lasting positive change in our community and the world.
Below, please find a list of several local organizations we support. Learn more about their missions and how you can get involved at their respective links.
Salvation Army Silicon Valley Food Pantry
The Food Pantry Distribution Program provides food to Seniors, Homeless and Families. Assistance in this program has more than doubled (since 2019, due to COVID), as more people faced job loss, reduction in working hours and/or increased costs for food, rent and other needs.
Fremont Family Resource Center
The Fremont Family Resource Center (FRC) is a welcoming place where families and individuals are nurtured, encouraged, and provided quality services to build on their own strengths to help themselves and others. An unexpected personal crisis can hit anyone, anytime and trigger a cascade of needs. Services and education at the FRC enable families and individuals to regain control of their own futures.
Ohlone Humane Society
Fremont Tri-City Breakfast Program
Alameda County Community Food Bank
The Alameda County Community Food Bank delivers millions of meals every year. Partnering with local food pantries, collage pantries, and schools, they help those living with food insecurity by offering free food, educational programs, and multilingual assistance with CalFresh program enrollment. Their advocacy programs work with all levels of the government to work towards ending poverty and inequity based on their belief that food is a basic human right.
