		<p>Vector Laboratories’ Mouse on Mouse detection kits (M.O.M.<sup>®</sup>) are designed for the detection of mouse IgG primary antibodies on mouse tissue sections. For detecting mouse primary antibodies on rat tissue, we offer a selection of anti-mouse, rat adsorbed secondary detection reagents. These are intended to be used for this application and would generate the most optimal signal to noise staining ratio. We offer a biotinylated anti-mouse IgG, rat adsorbed secondary antibody (Cat. No. BA-2001) for use with VECTASTAIN<sup>®</sup> ABC kits or avidin and streptavidin enzyme conjugates. Alternatively, we offer an ImmPRESS<sup>®</sup> HRP polymer anti-mouse IgG, rat adsorbed detection kit (Cat. No. MP-7422) for a convenient, one-step IHC methodology.</p>

Immunodetection Kits are specifically designed to reduce endogenous mouse IgG staining when using mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. The inability of an anti-mouse secondary antibody to distinguish between a primary antibody produced in mice and the endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue results in high background staining which obscures specific staining. This problem can be essentially eliminated by using a Vector M.O.M. Elite Kit. The result is clear, crisp specific staining of the antigens of interest.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. Elite Kit contains a proprietary Mouse IgG Blocking Reagent and is based on the simple and easy to follow VECTASTAIN® ABC reagent protocols; no tedious calculations or antibody pre-binding steps are required. Excellent staining results for a once difficult application have now become routine with the Vector M.O.M. System.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. Immunodetection Kits are useful in any mouse-on-mouse application, such as studies in genetically engineered mice, including transgenic and knock-out models, as well as mouse xenografts.  The M.O.M. Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent or enzyme-based detection systems. Detailed information for multiple antigen labeling can be found in our brochure, &#8220;Discovery Through Color: A Guide to Multiple Antigen Labeling&#8221; , available on our website.</p><p>Four Vector M.O.M. Kits are available. The three kits based on avidin/biotin technology use the same proprietary M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and the M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent, but offer a choice of an enzyme-based or fluorescent-based visualization method. M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and M.O.M. Immunodetection Kits are specifically designed to reduce endogenous mouse IgG staining when using mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. The inability of an anti-mouse secondary antibody to distinguish between a primary antibody produced in mice and the endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue results in high background staining which obscures specific staining. This problem can be essentially eliminated by using a Vector M.O.M. Kit. The result is clear, crisp specific staining of the antigens of interest.  Excellent staining results for a once difficult application have now become routine with the Vector M.O.M. System.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. Immunodetection Kits are useful in any mouse-on-mouse application, such as studies in genetically engineered mice, including transgenic and knock-out models, as well as mouse xenografts.</p><p>The M.O.M. Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent or enzyme-based detection systems. 		<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">The working solution of the M.O.M. Blocking Reagent can be prepared by adding 2 drops (~90 µL) of M.O.M. Blocking Reagent stock solution to 2.5 mL of PBS or TBS (PBS: 10 mM sodium phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.4-7.8; TBS: 50 mM TRIS, 0.15 M NaCl, pH 7.5-7.8). Incubate sample for 1 hour at room temperature in working solution of prepared M.O.M. Blocking Reagent to block endogenous mouse immunoglobulins in mouse tissue. This step must be completed prior to the incubation with the primary antibody. </span></p>

Immunodetection Kits are specifically designed to reduce endogenous mouse IgG staining when using mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. The inability of an anti-mouse secondary antibody to distinguish between a primary antibody produced in mice and the endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue results in high background staining which obscures specific staining. This problem can be essentially eliminated by using a Vector M.O.M. Kit. The result is clear, crisp specific staining of the antigens of interest.  Excellent staining results for a once difficult application have now become routine with the Vector M.O.M. System.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. Immunodetection Kits are useful in any mouse-on-mouse application, such as studies in genetically engineered mice, including transgenic and knock-out models, as well as mouse xenografts. This reagent is supplied as a 1 ml concentrate, sufficient to prepare about 25 ml of working solution or enough to stain about 125-250 sections.</p><p>The M.O.M. Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent or enzyme-based detection systems. Detailed information for multiple antigen labeling can be found in our brochure, &#8220;Discovery Through Color: A Guide to Multiple Antigen Labeling&#8221; , available on our website.</p><p>Four Vector M.O.M. Kits are available. The three kits based on avidin/biotin technology use the same proprietary M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and the M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent, but offer a choice of an enzyme-based or fluorescent-based visualization method. M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent are also available separately.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. ImmPRESS Kit contains our proprietary M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent paired with a specialized, ready-to-use, one-step, non-biotin M.O.M. ImmPRESS Peroxidase Polymer reagent.</p><p>Optimal staining results are obtained when this reagent is paired with the special M.O.M. 				        <h3>Technical Information</h3><p>The inability of an anti-mouse secondary antibody to distinguish between a primary antibody produced in mice and the endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue results in high background staining which obscures specific staining.  This problem can be essentially eliminated by using a Vector M.O.M. Kit.  The result is clear, crisp specific staining of the antigens of interest. Excellent staining results for a once difficult application have now become routine with the Vector M.O.M. System.</p><p>The Vector M.O.M. Immunodetection Kits are useful in any mouse-on-mouse application, such as studies in genetically engineered mice, including transgenic and knock-out models, as well as mouse xenografts.</p><p>The M.O.M. Kits can be also used in multiple antigen staining protocols to localize two different mouse primary antibodies on the same mouse tissue sections using fluorescent or enzyme-based detection systems. 				        <h3>Technical Information</h3><p>Four M.O.M. Kits are available. The three kits based on avidin/biotin technology use the same proprietary M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and the M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent, but offer a choice of an enzyme-based or fluorescent-based visualization method. M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent and M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent are also available separately.</p><p>The M.O.M. ImmPRESS<sup>®</sup> Kit contains our proprietary M.O.M. Mouse Ig Blocking Reagent paired with a specialized, ready-to-use, one-step, non-biotin M.O.M. ImmPRESS Peroxidase Polymer reagent.</p><p>An enzyme or fluorochrome conjugate is not included allowing for a choice of any avidin or streptavidin-based detection system.
