Cy7 Dyes

Cy7 from VectorLabs is a near-infrared dye that offers benefits in applications where low background and deep tissue penetration are critical. The near-infrared region is characterized by very low autofluorescence from biological tissues resulting in a much higher signal-to-noise ratio. The longer wavelength of Cy7 also allows for better tissue penetration making it ideal for in vivo applications, such as in small animal models, providing researchers with the ability to achieve high-contrast, detailed imaging. Vector Laboratories Cy7 dye has excellent photostability and is offered with many reactive groups facilitating conjugation to a wide range of target biomolecules including antibodies, antibody fragments, peptides, oligonucleotides and other small molecules.
