Confocal projection of a whole mount of the human choroid, the vascular layer of the eye responsible for nourishing the photoreceptor cells that are necessary for vision. Ulex europaeus agglutinin I (red) labels the vascular elements, anti-IBA-1 (blue) recognizes macrophages, and anti-CD45 (green) recognizes all classes of white cells.
