Christopher Fry
Primary mouse fibroblasts isolated from skeletal muscle. Fibroblasts are stained with antibodies against transcription factor 7-like 2 (TCF7L2 or Tcf4) as well as alpha-smooth muscle actin (aSMA). A portion of the fibroblasts express aSMA, denoting that these fibroblasts are transitioning to a myofibroblast phenotype. Cells are co-stained with DAPI. Scale bar = 100 um.
